EADS NA Defense Securitry and Systems Solutions, Inc. is a leader in training Information Assurance / Information Protection professionals. To ensure cyberspace network "warriors" are capable of meeting the challenge presented by the cyberspace threat that faces the nation. Education, training, and practice are needed at all levels of computer network defense (CND), computer network attack (CNA), and computer network exploitation (CNE).
A Network Training Simulator (NTrS) is needed to rapidly train, instruct, evaluate, and exercise network operations and information operations personnel on tactics, techniques, procedures, and tools in response to cyberspace threats and vulnerabilities; and to provide a similar capability for cyberspace CNA / CNE combatants to assure superiority in the cyberspace battlefield. Our NTrS provides training and exercise capabilities which will expose cyberspace crew forces at any level to various network situations, develop their technical skills, and identify innovative approaches to enhance CND / CNA / CNE operational processes, techniques, procedures, and architecture. In a controlled environment, it allows computer network crews to experience or conduct aggressive activities to disrupt, obstruct, and destroy the integrity of a simulated computer network; infiltrate a simulated computer network for intelligence collection; or train on procedures and tactics to defend and protect the network against such attacks. It also permits crews to carry out innovative approaches in a risk-free setting. Management can practice situational analysis, processes and procedures, coordination, communications, and command and control. The results can then be used to identify additional training needs, policy improvements, tactics, techniques and procedures developments, and computer network technology upgrades.
